EasyWorship alternative for churches

EasyWorship is presentation software. Worshi projects too, even without internet, but it starts from a different idea: Sunday doesn't begin when the projector turns on, it begins when the team prepares the songs. And it also translates the sermon live. Here's how they compare.

Who Worshi is for

For teams who prepare Sunday together

If at your church the person projecting, the worship leader and the musicians all need the same thing: the setlist, the corrected lyrics and the chords in each person's key. Everything is prepared on the web during the week, and on Sunday it's projected with the free app for Mac or Windows.

The difference isn't the projector

EasyWorship describes itself as presentation software for the church. Worshi covers that, plus the part that happens beforehand: the chords, each musician's key and who plays what.

Chords and keys, not just lyrics

Every song stores its chords in ChordPro and transposes by semitones, up or down. Each musician keeps their own key for that song without changing anyone else's.

The band, on their own phones

During the service, every musician follows the lyrics and chords on their phone or tablet, each in their own key and turning their own pages. Works with Bluetooth foot pedals that send the page-turn keys.

Ready for multilingual churches

The interface is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan, and chords can be shown in American or Latin notation. Useful when your congregation or your team speaks more than one language.

Setlist and team, together

Plan the order of service and assign team positions (vocals and instruments) for each service, based on how your worship team is actually structured.

Preparation happens in the browser

Songs, setlists and slides are prepared in the browser, so the church laptop and the one at home see the same thing. To project on Sunday, you use the free desktop app for Mac and Windows.

Full projection

Lyrics, verses, images, videos and layered scenes, with fades, blackout, a stage display and an OBS output with a transparent background. All of it runs through the desktop app for Mac and Windows; videos are played from a media folder on that computer.

Live translation

Everyone in your church understands the sermon, whatever language they speak

Worshi listens to the sermon and, a few seconds later, delivers it translated: as subtitles on the screen and on the stream, and with a voice that reads it in the other language. No interpreter, no special equipment: the computer that runs your projection, with the desktop app, and the audio from your mixer or a microphone.

Subtitles on screen and in OBS

On the projector and on the stream, with the size, position and background band you choose.

Translated voice

A voice reads the translation through the audio output you choose: speakers in a separate room, or headphones.

78 languages

The preacher's language is detected automatically: a guest speaker doesn't mean changing anything.

Transcription for accessibility

Subtitles in the same language as the sermon, for people who are hard of hearing. Uses half the hours.

Included in Pro and Premium, with hours every month. See pricing →

Frequently asked questions

Is Worshi a real alternative to EasyWorship?

Yes. Worshi projects lyrics, verses, images, videos and PDFs with its free app for Mac and Windows, which also works without internet. And it goes beyond the screen: the band has the chords in their key, every musician follows the lyrics on their phone, Sunday's setlist and team are in the same place, and the sermon can be translated live, with subtitles and voice.

What languages is EasyWorship available in?

Their site doesn't advertise any interface language other than English, though it does let you project Bibles in dozens of languages. Worshi is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan, which helps churches whose team or congregation speaks more than one language, and it shows chords in American (C, Dm, G7) or Latin (Do, Rem, Sol7) notation, whichever each musician prefers.

How much do EasyWorship and Worshi cost?

EasyWorship is a subscription priced by your church's average attendance; in August 2026 its public plans started at $17.50 a month for Basic and $27.50 for Premium. Worshi has a free-forever plan; Pro costs €19.99 a month, with 2 h of live translation, and Premium €67.99, with 15 h, VAT included. When you sign up you get 15 days of Pro free, no card required.

Does it work on Mac?

Yes, both do. EasyWorship advertises support for Windows and Mac. In Worshi, the setlist is prepared in the browser on any computer, and to project on Sunday you use its free desktop app for Mac and Windows.

Can I move my song library over from EasyWorship?

Yes, with AI import on the Pro and Premium plans: paste the song text, upload a PDF or take photos of your songbook, and Worshi rebuilds the sections and where each chord goes. It's worth checking the result before saving. You can also type them into its chord editor, in ChordPro.
