Comparisons

Alternatives to other church presentation software

If your church is choosing what to project with on Sunday, here's how Worshi compares with the most widely used software: what each one does, how they really differ, and what Worshi adds beyond the screen: chords for every musician, Sunday's team and live translation of the sermon.

Almost all of them compare presentation software. Planning Center is the exception: there, the comparison is about planning the service, because Planning Center doesn't project.

Four questions before you decide

Most decisions come down to these four:

  • How reliable is the internet in your building? If you can't count on it, make sure the software projects offline. Worshi does: its desktop app downloads your services and keeps projecting even if the connection drops.
  • Who runs the computer? If the person projecting also plays in the band, or it's someone different every Sunday, having everything prepared in advance and easy to run matters more than having a thousand production options.
  • Do your musicians need chords? They all cover projecting lyrics. Chords with transposition and the lyrics on every musician's phone, not so much: that's the real difference with Worshi.
  • Is anyone missing the sermon? Visitors, families from other countries, people who are hard of hearing. Worshi translates the sermon live, with subtitles on the screen and on the stream, and with voice.
